Born in Tennessee, a son of early pioneer families, Donald was raised by Nuns at Saint Joseph's Orphanage in Little Rock.
As a young man he was trained by the United States Army to survive two years, one month and seven days in the Republic of Vietnam.
For 25 years Donald worked on the erection of many high-rise buildings in San Francisco and took part in bridge construction throughout the state.
A member of the International Scholastic Order, Phi Theta Kappa Society, Donald is also a student of Ancient History and Ethnic Studies. He has written a book that is soon to be published and has been involved in the editing of several others.
He is a Disabled Veteran.
